Tom Rieder
William Thomas Rieder (Tom) is a third generation Miamian who graduated from Coral Gables High School. He graduated from the University of Miami with a Major in History. In post graduate work he specialized in Florida History. Tom started in the real estate business in 1971. He opened Rieder Realty in April of 1974 as a commercial real estate office specializing in the sale of acreage. He was on the Board of Directors of the local Board of Realtors for 9 years. During that time, he was the Chairman of the Ethics and Arbitration Committee, Legislative Committee, and Contracts Committee. Tom has been on the Board of Directors of several organizations business, fraternal, and social. Serving as Chairman or President of many. Tom currently is on the Board of Directors of The Dade County Farm Bureau. He is the Chairman of the Public Relations Committee and Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. Tom is an avid outdoorsman. He was a Boy Scout Leader for 8 years and both of his sons are Eagle Scouts. Tom has hiked, camped, canoed, and hunted many parts of Florida. As a fisherman, Tom has fished many areas of Florida and the Bahamas. He has fished local and international billfish tournaments. Tom is a commercial, multi-engine, instrument pilot, who has been flying for over 45 years and uses aviation extensively in the real estate business.
Bobby Rieder
Robert John Rieder (Bobby) is a Miami native who is a Graduate of Florida International University and Gulliver High School. Bobby was awarded the athletic honor of High School All-American in Lacrosse. He attained the highest rank of scouting, Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 457 at Kendall United Methodist Church. Bobby is a Realtor Associate for Rieder Realty and Tom’s son. Bobby joined the family business immediately after graduating from FIU. He has always had a passion for farming the land, which naturally led to selling farm land. Bobby has sold land from Tampa to the Florida Keys. Over the past few years, Bobby has focused on land in the Redlands, Homestead, Florida City, and Unincorporated Miami-Dade County. The prices are reaching the point where the farmers can buy land and it is feasible to farm again.
Blair Rieder Steffey
Susan Blair Rieder Steffey (Blair) is a Miami native and Tom’ Daughter. Blair graduated from Palmer Trinity High School and Florida State University with honors. Blair is a Realtor Associate and Executive Assistant for Rieder Realty. She joined the company just days after graduation. Her first agenda was to bring Rieder Realty into the age of technology by having a laptop on every desk, smart phones in every hand, marketing all listings on multiple national land websites, convincing her Dad to upgrade the office machines to state of the art technology, and subscribing to numerous mapping and terrain programs.
Ryan Steffey
Ryan Robert Steffey was born and raised in Naples and Marco Island, Florida and attended Lely High School. Ryan is a graduate of Florida State University with a Degree in Finance. He is a Realtor Associate with Rieder Realty and focuses on Commercial properties. Ryan sold Businesses and Business Opportunities on the West Coast prior to joining Rieder Realty.
